    Parakration is the flagship STEM event of Lahore Grammar School, Paragon Campus. It features a wide array of categories, spanning across various scientific fields, including the pure sciences, mathematics, forensics, astronomy and more. Aiming to showcase the creativity and brilliance of the students of Pakistan, Parakration provides a competitive environment in order to cultivate uninhibited curiosity towards science.

    Legacy

    Parakration began in 2012, and the LGS Paragon Science Society has carried the torch for eleven past editions. The event gets its name from the Ancient Greek sport "pankration ," literally meaning "all of power ," a custom that dates back centuries. Similarly, Parakration honors another pursuit, older than the sport it gets its name from, one that humanity has grappled with for millennia in an effort to sate our unending curiosity: the pursuit of knowledge.
